"DO YOU SECRETLY KNOW WHAT JOB I AM SUPPOSED TO DO, but are just not telling me?" ~ Actual late night text from my vivacious daughter, age 24, (shown above entering her college dorm)
Why use a life coach and how the young adults in your life will benefit:
It’s not uncommon for young adults to feel lost or unclear about next steps in life. After following a structured path through high-school and college, many feel frozen when facing what they perceive to be permanent decisions about their life's path. Through coaching, clients are encouraged with kindness and support to explore the narratives they believe about themselves and the world, such as “I’m never going to find a job during a global pandemic!” To get to the root of why clients are feeling stuck, confused, paralyzed, unmotivated, scared or lost, Gretchen asks powerful questions, incorporates in-session exercises, and provides independent practices to be explored between coaching sessions. Coaching helps young adults gain clarity on direction, envision a bright future, manage feelings of being overwhelmed, set goals, become self-aware and more conscious of and connected to their higher purpose.
