BC Calculus - AP BC Calculus is an 8 credit college level course. Considering the strong possibility of continued distance learning and the effects of distance learning in the last quarter of the 2019-2020 school year, we've created a plan of action for those who would like extra help with AP Calculus BC this year. We are offering a summer BC Calculus preview to review everything that should have been covered in the last quarter to prepare for a smooth transition into BC Calculus.
Covering these early topics and making sure students understand them is so important because nearly all material in BC Calculus compounds such that the topics learned in the beginning of the class are foundational for more difficult concepts covered in later sections.
If students are interested, the opportunity exists to turn the review into a consistent meeting throughout the year to keep up with coursework, but more importantly to go for a 5 on the AP and secure those eight college credits!
